I began my quest by taking sketching courses at our local high school, in 1995. The teacher then got us into watercolor. I also studied watercolor with Alla Jablokov, a member of the Midwestern Watercolor Society and the American Watercolor Society. After that I ventured into acrylics with Phyllis DeSio. I have done some pastel work but my goal was always to paint in oil.

Over the past two years I have painted in oil. My husband and
I travel a lot and I like to paint places we’ve been, such as
Pompeii, Venice, Guatemala, and Denmark.

I have always admired stained glass and that is my
passion now. It is a very challenging art but a new
venture for me.
